LAW PRACTICE MANAGEMENT - SOUTH AUSTRALIA

Making the transition from solicitor to principal or partner of a law practice requires greater skills and understanding of the business of managing a legal practice. This Accredited Law Practice Management Course (ALPMC) is designed to provide you with everything you need to make that transition.

The LPMC is accredited by the Legal Practitioners Education and Admission Council for the purposes of obtaining a Category A or B Practising Certificate.

Induction: Monday, 21 October 2024, 5.15pm to 6.00pm via video conferencing

  • Friday, 1 November 2024 9am to 5pm

The Law Practice Management Course has three components:

Online learning

You will have access to your online materials from the Course Start Date. These materials contain pre-reading and compulsory exercises that must be completed prior to the commencement of the course workshop and to obtain your PMC completion statement.

3-day workshop

A 3-day workshop held over Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

The workshop is both an opportunity for you to engage in practical exercises and tutorials with legal industry experts and it is a great chance to network and connect with peers within the profession.

Assessments

There are four areas of assessment as indicated in the table below. Participants must pass all assessments to meet the LPMC requirements.
