Course Overview
Resilience is critical to maintaining your wellbeing and managing stress. Yet it’s a core skill that’s often overlooked in our profession.
In fact, lawyers score in the lower 30th percentile for resilience. So it’s no surprise that poor mental health, burnout and attrition are common symptoms of our high-pressure industry.
But you can strengthen your capacity for resilience.
This course will help you boost your performance and allow you to contribute more meaningfully in your daily professional life.
You’ll develop strategies for resilient thinking and expand your capacity for stress-related growth. So you can overcome adversity – and bounce back stronger.
At the end of this course, you’ll be able to:
- Understand the true meaning of ‘wellbeing’ and ‘resilience’
- Reflect on your personal wellbeing and identify barriers to wellbeing
- Improve your resilience skills
- Gain insights into mental health and the effects of stress
- Practise strategies to manage stress and maintain your wellbeing
You’ll learn how to sharpen your problem-solving skills, improve your relationships and establish more realistic goals. But perhaps most vitally, you’ll learn how to lessen mental health issues and promote good mental health.
