Effective Leadership in the VUCA World of the Artificial Intelligence.

VUCA is an acronym based on leadership theories to describe or reflect on the volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity of general conditions and situations.

Leaders impact their organisation, and the lives of the individuals in it, in a positive or negative way. Leaders must sustain high levels of performance themselves and produce results through collaboration with others. The fast pace of change requires more innovation and agility. Without the most up to date and relevant training and support, leaders miss the mark and create disharmony, low engagement, and become a roadblock to achieving the overall results you need.

Collaboration with many types of individuals in the workplace is not always that simple. Your reports, colleagues, managers and clients all have different abilities and preferences which can often create lots of conflict and stress. This reduces engagement and productivity and increases the loss of talent and clients.

In order to manage your emotions when dealing with other people, you must have a high level of emotional intelligence. Leaders need to be able to manage themselves and manage their relationships. In this practical, hands-on program, you will gain the skills to develop strong relationships with reports, colleagues, managers and clients as well as reduce stress and conflict for higher engagement and productivity.

Key benefits of this training:

  • Workplaces that are led by more well rounded and balanced leaders are able to produce greater results with less resources and without undue stress and conflict.
  • They retain valuable employees and their clients rave about them. They become leaders in their industry and make far greater profits.

After completing this workshop participants will be able to:

  • Understand what leadership is and how to employ it in a VUCA world of AI.
  • Recognise the personal and professional benefits of Emotional Intelligence.
  • Practice proven strategies that reduce stress and build resilience.
  • Define and practice key competencies that reduce workplace conflict.
  • Navigate the fast pace of change teams face in our world every day.
  • Influence their team in a positive way to produce exceptional outcomes

Grant Herbert - Professional Services Mentor

Describing himself as an ordinary guy with an outstanding wife and 5 amazing kids, Grant has a passionate message to share about being authentic and living the best life you can without all the stress.

By using experience from his own journey of imperfection, he has empowered thousands of lawyers around the world to escape the performance trap, cut themselves some slack, learn from their experiences and enjoy success in being whoever they are called to be in every area of their life. His proven Lawyers Becoming Leaders™ and Professional Services Leadership™ programs help lawyers and other legal professionals to develop the crucial personal, professional and people leadership skills that are not taught at university.

With over 37 years as a leadership trainer and coach, Grant has learned that the key to developing others is to first help them replace the mindsets and behaviours that are currently sabotaging their results. Once that platform is built, they actually implement what he teaches them, and this ensures a high ROI.

Whether it is in the boardroom, the partners retreat, the conference venue, or 1 on 1, he will inspire in you a desire to change and then show you how to do so. In his own authentic yet powerful way, he guides you through your surface story into the real issues hidden below. As an inspirational Keynote Speaker, Grant helps everyone to recognise the mindsets and behaviours that are sabotaging business and personal goals.

As a leadership mentor and executive coach, he helps professionals to reduce stress and conflict, to increase productivity and profitability, by increasing social and emotional intelligence and people leadership capabilities. Grant creates an environment where people make positive change in the room, not just get more information about the problem.
